Overview
Escape the tourist trail on this immersive 6-day Sri Lanka journey that takes you deep into rural villages, lush forests, and community life — staying at eco lodges with full-board accommodation and guided nature adventures.
Step away from the well-worn tourist path on this six-day journey through the heart of Sri Lanka, exploring areas just beyond the cities of Kandy and Negombo. Rather than ticking off famous landmarks, you will immerse yourself in genuine rural experiences — visiting a local school, hopping aboard a public bus, and discovering the authentic rhythm of village life. Nature takes center stage with bird watching at an eco lodge, a thrilling trek through a cluster of seven waterfalls rising nearly 100 meters in the Knuckles Forest, and a refreshing dip in natural pools. From the serene surroundings of Polwatta Eco Lodge to the unique charm of the Mudhouse in Anamaduwa, each overnight stay is a story in itself. Activities, nature trails, temple visits, lake kayaking, and cooking lessons are all part of the experience. All transfers, five nights of full-board accommodation, school visits, jeep hires, trekking, and hiking are included. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide will be with you throughout, ensuring every moment runs smoothly.
