Set out on a privately guided nature trek through Horton Plains National Park, one of Sri Lanka's most stunning highland reserves. Your experienced English-speaking guide will collect you from your accommodation in Ella, Haputale, or Ohiya early in the morning, and transfer you to the park entrance.
Once inside, you'll spend approximately four hours walking through montane grasslands and cloud forest at an elevation of 2,100-2,300 metres. Along the way, discover Baker's Falls, keep watch for endemic bird species, sambar deer, and other wildlife, and take in sweeping views across the central highlands.
