Travelers wishing to discover the Inland Sea archipelago frequently choose to visit Shodoshima, the second-largest island in the Seto Inland Sea. One of the three main valley beauties in Japan and a representation of Setonaikai National Park is the Kankakei Ropeway. The only ropeway in Japan that provides a simultaneous view of the sky, the sea, and the valley is the Kankakei Ropeway, which runs from the base of the mountain to its summit.
The location of Nakayama Rice Field is in th middle of Shodoshima which is in the Nakayama district. There are about 800 large and small rice fields that have been selected as one of the 100 Best Rice Terraces in Japan
