Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka - Negombo

Day 2: Negombo to Sigiriya

Train tickets will be arranged at the station (class category subject to availability). Known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world.
  • Little Adam's Peak: An iconic landmark situated in the picturesque hill town of Ella, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
  • Ella Village Walk & Nine Arch Bridge: Explore Ella, a wonderful nature-friendly hill country village. The Ravana Waterfall and Nine Arch Bridge are among the most popular sightseeing attractions in the area.

Day 6: Relaxing Day on the Beach

  • Mirissa / Unawatuna Beach: After a fantastic journey through coconut and tea estates, mountains and waterfalls, arrive at the world-famous southern coast of Sri Lanka. A delightful sandy beach with white sands and coconut palms, perfect for relaxation.
  • Hummanaya Blowhole: En-route to Mirissa, stop at the Hummanaya Natural Blowhole, considered to be the second-largest blowhole in the world, where seawater rushes through a submerged cavern upwards.
  • Beach Leisure & Water Activities: Relax on the beach with a cocktail under a palm tree. Optional activities include Jet Ski, Banana & Tube Boating, Diving, Snorkeling, Surfing, Fishing, and Deep Sea Fishing.

Day 7: Galle Fort / Hikkaduwa / Madu River Boat Safari

  • Stilt Fishermen of Matara: En-route to Galle, stop at Matara to witness and photograph the famous Sri Lankan stilt fishermen.
  • Galle Fort: After breakfast, head towards Galle and walk through its UNESCO World Heritage-listed fort, where classic Dutch and British architecture meets a tropical setting. The Historic Galle Lighthouse stands proudly on the southeast tip of the fort.
  • Madu River Boat Safari: Experience an amazing boat ride through the mangroves (red water trees) of the Madu River.

Day 8: Colombo City Tour / Airport Drop-off

  • Colombo City Tour: After breakfast, visit Sri Lanka's capital city of Colombo, which has an interesting history dating back to the fifth century. Once an important port city in East-West sea trade, it's now a bustling modern metropolis with colorful streets, restaurants, and modern shopping malls attracting both locals and tourists.
  • Departure: Proceed to the airport in time for your return flight, or drop-off at your hotel in Colombo or Negombo.
