Embark on a memorable whale and dolphin watching excursion departing from Mirissa, along Sri Lanka's stunning southern coastline. This tour has been running since 2013 aboard the "Queen Whale," a 60-foot luxury catamaran powered by twin Yamaha 385hp engines, reaching speeds of 13 knots per hour. While the vessel can accommodate up to 150 guests, group sizes are kept to a maximum of 45 to ensure comfort and a quality experience.
Your captain brings over 25 years of sailing expertise in the southern waters of Sri Lanka, with 13 years dedicated to whale watching expeditions.

Regardless of whale sightings, you are guaranteed a beautiful boat safari across the Indian Ocean. The crew will do their utmost to locate these magnificent creatures for you. When whales are spotted, the boat follows their natural behavior without chasing or disturbing them — a truly ethical approach to marine wildlife observation.
Midway through the tour, there is a 30-minute stop for a refreshing sea swim (bring appropriate swimwear). Breakfast is served on board, including egg sandwiches, fried sausage, fresh fruit, and pancakes, along with tea, coffee, and bottled water.

- Whale watching: Cruise the southern waters of Sri Lanka in search of blue whales, sperm whales, and other marine life. Whale sighting probability is approximately 50%.
- Dolphin encounter: Enjoy a high chance (approximately 90%) of spotting dolphins in their natural habitat.

Mid-Ocean Swim Break
